Tori Schmidt is a New York City based makeup artist specializing in Television and Film work. Since she was young she was expressing herself through every creative outlet she could find, from drawing, sculpting intricate clay creations, to nail art. Tori often would draw faces she tore out of magazines, figures, and fashion designs. Drawing faces stemmed into a love of makeup at a young age.

 As she got older her love for all things creative never diminished and her love of makeup and skincare led her to Pivot Point Academy, a well respected cosmetology and esthetics school in the Chicagoland area. After acquiring her esthetics license, Tori wanted to further her makeup education. After extensive research, Tori decided to attend Makeup Designory New York. 

Tori moved to New York City and competed the Multi-Media Makeup Artistry program at MUD where she honed her skills through intensive training and was given the opportunity to design makeup for a series of different fashion, beauty and special effects photoshoots.

Tori looks forward to a career using and growing her creativity and makeup artistry skills to design makeup for a variety of projects in fashion and print. She hopes to inspire creativity of all forms through her work as she was inspired by the countless faces she sketched from magazines.
